At the Seward Farmers Market you’ll find friendly faces and the finest produce and handmade food Nebraska has to offer.
Twice as Nice
Twice a week from May through October area vendors line the shaded lawn of the Seward County Courthouse. By being open Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings the Seward Farmers’ Market offers options that meet the needs of their shoppers. Whether you stop by Wednesday after work, or spend a casual Saturday morning at the market, you’ll find market stalls full of local produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, honey, jams and jellies, breads and other handcrafted items. There is usually a concession stand where you can grab a burger, hot dog, drinks and chips. Or stroll around beautiful downtown Seward and pop into a closeby restaurant, boutiques, or coffeeshop.
Only in Seward
We’re used to seeing the same brands of food in grocery stores no matter where we might be shopping that day. At a farmers’ market it is different. Every market in the state of Nebraska is different - different vendors, regional specialties, and seasonal changes keep things exciting! At the Seward Farmers’ Market you’ll find all the classics consistently - like fresh baked goods, seasonal produce, eggs, honey, and meat, but we appreciate the things that make this and every other farmers’ market unique. It could be a different flavor of bratwurst, a special variety of sweet onion, grandma’s secret recipe for kolache dough, or a flavor of jam that we’ve never tried before. The seasonal change and local specialties have shoppers coming back every week!
