*Insert text about Nebraska's Harvest Schedule. This paragraph can end with the text about items that can be found all year long.* However, buying local doesn't have to stop when summer is over. Nebraska family farmers offer many locally grown and value-added products all year long, including:
- Beef, buffalo, chicken, goat, lamb, ostrich, pork, rabbit, turkey, fish/other aquatic meat, etc.
- Eggs, butter, cheese, kefir, ice cream, milk, yogurt
- Breads, baked goods, cider, dried vegetables, honey, jams, nuts, preserves, etc.
- Flowers, soaps, transplants, wreaths, and woody florals
Nebraska's Harvest Schedule
All items are organized based on when the item is generally available fresh from a local source, although it may be possible to find some items available frozen or dried year-round. This harvest schedule is listed for the item in general, however, some varieties may have different harvesting windows.
